- A freehold estate consisting of four timber houses purchased in May 1793, two thirds from Cassandra Bayles for £400 and one third from Henry Lambe for £176. John Allen's lease on Lambe's property was purchased by the Company at the same time for £420. Underleases had also been granted, but the Company only purchased that held by John Calvert on the Marlborough Head ale house for £125 in August 1793. The Marlborough Head was pulled down in 1802. The Company sold this property in 1814 to Charles Wix for £700.
