- Leasehold estate comprising coach houses and stables with lofts above, leased in 1784 by John Hale from the parish of St Stephen Walbrook for 61 years. Hale's lease was purchased by the East India Company in August 1793 for £620. In May 1799 the Company granted Hale a lease for 52 years on a piece of ground, stables and dung hole in the back alley. The Company sold this property in 1814 to Maximilian Kymer for £390.
