- Five dwelling houses forming part of the estate of John Brealey, who died intestate concerning this property. The houses were let by John Brealey to Robert Relleen on agreement of lease for 7 or 14 years from 24 June 1858. Richard Brealey, John Brealey's son and heir at law, died before 1872, and his estate was administered by the Court of Chancery. 5 Gardeners Lane was leased by Relleen to John Daly. The house and shop at 8 Gardeners Lane, and the house, yard and stable at 10 Gardeners Lane were let under an agreement dated 24 October 1855 by Robert Relleen to James Price for 18 years. Price in turn let the house at 10 Gardeners Lane to George Mayes, keeping the yard and stable in his own occupation.
