- Scope & Content:
- The beer shop at 11 Gardeners Lane, the dwellings with shops at numbers 19 and 20, and the William the Fourth beer shop at number 21 were all let by John Brealey to John Rosier for a term expiring 25 December 1888. Rosier in turn leased the premises to Henry Godding. The London Life Association conveyed the properties on 7 December 1864 to Robert Cradock Nichols, who sold them to the Secretary of State for India in 1866.
