M. Leake, The Life of Captain Stephen Martin, Navy Records Society, vol. v, 1895) and 1689. ff. 30b-34, 48-52;-(6) Painted drawings of the flags of various countries, ports, etc. ff. 35-46b;-(7) Instructions for the Navy Board, issued by James, Duke of York, as Lord High Admiral, 28 Jan. 166½. Copy. A slightly different version is printed in the Naval Chronicle, vi, 1801, pp. 376, 469-480. ff. 59, 62-69b;-(8) Estimate for the Navy Board for 1700. f. 60;-(9) Signals issued to Adm. Leake as commander of H.M.S. 'Eagle' by Admiral Russell, 6 May 1691, but not in agreement with the text of Russell's signals for 1691 as printed by J. S.
