The file is composed of text and statistic notes concerning the inspection tour around the Bamenda Division by His Honour, the Chief commissioner, G.G. Shute in 1940. The original file number is 2036 (double-checked on Archives index cards). Below the title on the cover we read "See Also reference to file No B 451 volume III". The file has an index at the beginning of the file and a house plan at the end.
127 sheets measuring 31x20cm while the house plan measures 22x25cm and 6 sheets measuring 32x40cm and containing statistical data in tables excluding the cover page . All are text but for a house plan found at the end of the documents. The document has an index of five sheets. All the materials are on Bamenda Division. The cover page of the file is Manila file jacket.
1- The top left edge of the cover page and the first page of the index are mutilated. 2- The right edge and the middle part of the plan is mutilated. 3- The file is bound with a ribbon. 4- File includes sheets of paper of different types (thin, thick, etc), all the sheets are very fragile.
