There is another reference number given by the author File No 3325. The file is composed of various reports and correspondence pertaining to Bafut Area in the old Bamenda Division of what was then the Cameroons Province (especially in cultural and economical issues).
167 sheets excluding the double cover. Most of the textual documents have been written on sheets of two sizes: 20 X 33 cm ; 19 X 16 cm. There are 2 maps, one on a sheet 38X 41 cm and the other on cloth measuring 35 X 33cm.
Most of the sheets are fragile and greatly mutilated at the edges especially those at the back of the file. Some of the sheets have watermarks. Some notes on the sheets are hand written. There are two maps on Bafut Area in Bamenda Division. There are an index and 3 appendices. There are new photocopies of deteriorated original enclosed in an envelop found in the file. The changes have been made by the archivist.
Some of the sheets have been repaired using cellotape and paper to prevent further deterioration.
