This file is made up of text documents (correspondence, memorandum, telegrams). having to do and including the intelligence report on the associated village groups occupying the Bafut native authority area in the Bamenda Division. Very few items are written on both sides of a sheet. There are handwritten notes, some items are entirely handwritten. The Items N° 1 and 2 were found in the file Ab3(a) removed and reinserted in this file. The word "Bufu" present in the file cover is misleading: all the items included in this file deal with the BAFUT area.
49 sheets of text paper excluding the two covers. The sizes of the item are the following: Cover 1: 26x40 cm, Cover 2: 23x37 cm; sheet of text paper: 21x21, 33x21, 21x17, 21x28, 22x14, 21x15, 14x11, 21x10. The date on the cover does not correspond to the date range within the file (which are 1934-1935).
The right corners of the sheet are mutilated due to human handling, some of them are mutilated at the top left edge due to the use of local tag for binding purposes. The first cover page is in good condition of conservation, but the second one is seriously damaged.
