The file is made up of various documents (reports, correspondence, memos,telegrams,etc) from Bamenda Division, Southern Provinces Nigeria and Cameroons Province Buea, produced in 1925-1930. These items are focused on the ethnographic assessment issues concerning Bali area in the Bamenda Division of what was then the Cameroons Province. The file has another reference which is the file number given by the creator of the original material (File No EP 4929 Vol I).
151 sheets excluding the two covers and one map. Textual documents have been written on sheets of sizes: 21 X 33 cm, 20 X 17 cm,20X28 cm,10 X 16 cm,19 X 33 cm, 54 X 33cm and the map measures 37X 39 cm.
Some of the sheets are fragile and greatly mutilated at the edges. The map is drawn on a piece of cloth and is torn. Some of the items are torn while others have been gnawed by insects. Many of the items are both sides written, others are both handwritten and typed, the cover has been renewed.
