This file is made up of text documents (correspondence, memorandum, Letters, Telegrams) and a Map on a piece of cloth. These documents talk about the chieftancy and land issues in the Bali district especially the subchiefs of this administrative area. On the cover page, there is another reference which is the file N° probably referring to an older system of arrangement given by the creator of the file. This file N° is B 2908. The date range of the collection « Bamenda Division » is from 1915 to 1967, but this particular file includes letters translated into English from German, and which were originally written in 1911 and 1912: no original copy is found.

242 sheets excluding the cover with the following sizes : Cover : 26x36cm. Textual documents have been written on sheets of sizes: 21 X 33 cm, 17x10cm, 22x18cm,x33 43x28cm
The sheets of paper have been renewed by gluing the damaged sheets on stronger sheets of paper in order to prolong the life of the document. Some of the items are both sides written, others are both handwritten and typed. Others are made up of more than one sheet of paper while some sheets of paper contain more than one item.
