The file is made up of text documents (correspondence,reports,memorandum ) about the creation of the Bameta district in the Bamenda Division. Some items are written on both sides of the sheets while some are handwritten and typed. On the cover there are some handwritten notes about the previous files. The second cover has some handwritten and typed notes and looks like a table of contents. This file has another reference which is the file N° probably referring to an old system of arrangement given by the creator of the file. This file N°829/1922
33 sheets of paper excluding the two covers with the following sizes : Cover 1 : 24x36cm,cover 2: 21x33cm. Textual documents have been written on sheets of sizes: 21x33cm, 20x13 cm, 20x19cm,20x16cm, 20x 25cm. There is also a map which sizes are: 20x33 cm
Most of the sheets in the file are not in very bad conditions of preservation. But one of the covers is a bit damaged.
