The file is made up of text documents (correspondence, memo) which are remarks, recommendations, and comments on the assessment report made by C.J.A. Gregg on the Bameta District. The items are based on taxation, salaries,customs,history and genealogy of the Meta clan. The cover has been changed. There is a letter (item 35) within this file produced in 1907 by the German administration in Cameroon. On the second cover there are some handwritten notes concerning the subsequent file in the old system of arrangement. This file has another reference which is the file N° probably referring to an old system of arrangement given by the creator of the file. This reference is : 81/1923.
20 sheets of paper excluding the two covers with the following sizes : Cover 1 : 27X 33cm, cover 2:22X 33cm. Textual documents have been written on sheets of sizes: 20X33cm,20X 17cm,22X34cm,21X 17cm,20X26cm,,14X 10cm,. There are two statistical charts whose sizes are:40X 33cm.
Most of the sheets are very fragile and greatly mutilated at the edges.
