The file is made up of text documents (correspondence,notes,telegrams) based on the report on the Ngemba and Mbu's speaking peoples area within the Bamenda Division. There are comments to this report, which make reference to the village groups occupying the target area. Some items are written on both sides of the sheets while some are handwritten and typed. This file has another reference which is the file N° 16561 probably referring to an old system of arrangement given by the creator of the file.
56 sheets of paper excluding the two covers with the following sizes : Cover 1 : 27X 33cm, cover 2: 23X 34cm. Textual documents have been written on sheets of sizes: 20X33cm, 16X 21cm,20X 17cm;20X 22cm,9X 14cm,20X 20cm,20X 19cm,20X 15cm.
Most of the sheets are fragile and greatly mutilated at the edges.
