The file is made up of text documents (correspondence, telegrams, memos, both hand- and type-written) about the Ngi people within the Bamenda Division and, in particular, making reference to the 1934 Intelligence report on the Ngi. The file contains information about the geography, history, demography, economy, religion, and culture of the Ngi (sometimes spelled "Ngie"). This file has another reference which is the file N° 937 Vol. I probably referring to an old system of arrangement given by the creator of the file.
91 sheets of paper excluding the cover with size : 24X 36cm. Textual documents have been written on sheets of sizes: 22X15cm, 11X 17cm,21X 26cm;21X 17cm,21X 33cm.
Most of the sheets in the file are not in very bad conditions of preservation. However some are mutilated at the edges.
