The file is made up of text documents (correspondence, notes and lists of villages both hand- and typewritten) about proposals for the federation of the Menemo, Mogamo, Ngemba, Ngi and Ngwaw Native Authorities. The file contains commentaries and remarks on the inspection notes of Bamenda Division. This file has another reference which is the file N° L. G. 2238 probably referring to an old system of arrangement given by the creator of the file. On the second cover there are some handwritten notes about the subsequent files

130 sheets of paper excluding the two covers with the following sizes : 26X 36, 25X36cm. Textual documents have been written on sheets of sizes: 20X33, 20X32, 20X17, 17X23, 21X22cm.
Most of the sheets in the file are in fair conditions. A few, though, are mutilated at the edges. The original cover is also mutilated. The cover has been renewed once.
