EATON, GEORGE WELBY (1840-1864)
Eaton went to India with the 2nd European Bengal Fusiliers in June 1858 and was posted to Delhi. He went with the 73rd Bengal Native Infantry to Jalpaiguri (Bengal) in February 1861 and served in the Sylhet expedition with the 22nd and 21st Native Infantry during 1862 and 1863. He died in Allahabad (U.P.), 12 October 1864.
