Includes order of service for a commemoration of the Relief of the Lucknow Garrison held at St Paul's Cathedral Calcutta on 21 Jan 1858; news from Governor General's camp at Allahabad dated 26 Feb, printed in the Calcutta Gazette; newspaper cutting detailing battle for the Alum Bagh [Lucknow]; telegram from Sir Colin Campbell dated 15 Mar 1858 informing of the fall of the Kaiserbagh [Palace, Lucknow]; newspaper cutting from the Bangalore Herald, 20 Mar 1858, announcing the re-taking of Lucknow; telegram from Military Secretary, Fort St George, announcing occupation of the Fort at Jhansi; newspaper cutting 'Rebel Notabilities in Oude'; newspaper cutting of the relief of Azimghur; telegram from Allahabad dated 6 Jun 1858 stating that the Governor General was ill with fever but now recovered; newspaper reports of British progress against the uprising;
