Letters to the Marquis of Clanricarde, Hubert de Burgh Canning, of 1904-1907, relating to the sale of land to tenants: letter of 3 August 1906 from H [?] Pearse, a tenant under the Woodville boycott, under attack and unable to farm or obtain supplies, and requesting a rent fixed by the land court; Pearse’s earlier letter of 27 November 1905 making the same request as a boycotted farmer; letter of 20 December 1904 from Father J Craddock, enclosing a list by name and district of tenants wanting to buy in the parish of Castleyan; letter of 18 Mar 1904 from Thomas O'Dea, Bishop of Clanfort, regarding land agitation and poverty and suggested scheme for Clanricarde to enter into negotiations with his tenants; request for sale from Father John F Fallon; and letter of 3 June 1907 from Walter H Long requesting statement of facts regarding evicted tenants and pre-empting Birrell's suggested legislation against Clarnricarde.

Correspondence between Fred. Wrench, Irish Land Commission, Dublin, of March and April 1907, and Edward Tener: Wrench offers purchase of Irish estates but has been refused to be seen, on 22 March 1907 he writes that based on Tener's submission of rental income over ten years he can offer £375,000; in reply to Tener's comments on the proposal of 12 April 1907, Wrench invites him to submit a 'fair' offer and sets out conditions.
