- This part of the Vessantara Jataka is about the episode when Prince Vessantara gave Princess Matsi to the Brahmin who was in fact God Indra in disguise. The Brahmin finally gave Nang Matthi back to Prince Vessantara and the princess took care of him. The colophon mentions as sponsors Mrs Thongsi and her husband. The record of the date when the manuscript was finished is contradictory. “2217”, if referring to the Buddhist era was a kap yi year, not a ka khai year. Date of original material: BE 2217 (ka khai year) (?); 1674 (?). 19 folios
