- Scope & Content:
- This text is about a rich person called Phokha who he had only one son. When this son was still a small boy he got a disease, became seriously ill and finally died. According to the colophon, the manuscript was donated to Vat Sao Liao by Bhikkhu Isspañña (Itsapannya). The recto side of the second folio has the following ownership (or user) statement written in modern Lao script: “This manuscript [is owned/has been used] by Novice (nen) Kham, the person who is learning new.” This is followed by scribbling (without meaning) in Roman script. Date of original material: 19th century Creator/Scribe: Bhikkhu Isspañña (Itsapannya). 05 folios
