Printed copy of Articles of Agreement with Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company for the conveyance of mails to India, China and other countries dated 1 Jan 1853, with tables.
Copies of correspondence between the Post Office, the Treasury, and the East India Company relative to the establishment of a uniform sixpenny rate of postage, Mar 1853-Nov 1855, together with abstracts of same correspondence. Copy of memorandum from Rowland Hill to Postmaster General regarding reduction of rate, 11 Feb 1853.
