The manuscript is made of a text containing 12 palm leaves numbered from 1 to 12. The text, in excellent condition. The text, entitled Ñaṉa Kummi, is constituted of 185 kaṇṇi, a poetic form composed of two lines; it is complete. It deals with the cittarkaḷ, yogi supposed the authors of the siddha knowledge. The text explains some philosophical concepts developed by the cittarkaḷ. According to them the physical body is temple and the soul is the almighty God. They explain these concepts by using a Tamil literature form called Pirapantam. Among the 64 types of Pirapantam, kummi is an important one. It presents as a song, sung in villages by women, standing in a circle and clapping their hands. There are several types of kummi: Vaittiya kummi which focuses on medical treatment and medicines for curing diseases; Citampara kummi which sings the glory of Chidambaram, a village where the temple is devoted to the dance of Lord Civa; Kaḷipu kummi which relates some historical events; and Ñaṉa kummi which describes principles and procedures for the welfare of human society. Size of the manuscript: 32,0cm x 3.2cm. The palm leaves which compose the text are numbered from 1 to 12. The text is complete. The manuscript is in excellent.
