En el año 1909, las comunicaciones sobre las funciones y servicios del hospicio registraron la siguiente información: envío de los gastos ordinarios mensuales, los reportes mensuales del movimiento de los pacientes y los cuadros de estadística médica. Se indica el número y los ingresos recaudados de los pacientes pensionistas que son atendidos mensualmente. Se registra la planilla mensual de los pacientes penitenciados, enjuiciados pensionistas y sacerdotes pacientes. Se informa que aún no se ha concluido el juicio sobre las dos huertas de la cofradía del Cercado y que seguirán bajo la autoridad del depositario judicial; demanda una partida adicional para los trabajos de ornamentación y pintura de los nuevos pabellones para mujeres pensionistas; solicita la compra de 600 kilos de tabaco libre de impuesto. Se informa al inspector de aguas del Consejo Provincial de Lima del desborde de la acequia externa y el daño que ha causado a los pozos destinados a los baños de los pacientes del hospicio. Se plantea una terna para la elección del nuevo capellán y se propone fijar la cuota mensual que se cobrará a los apoderados de las pacientes que se instalarán en los nuevos pabellones del departamento de mujeres. El capellán solicita el pago de las misas dadas en las madrugadas. El Dr. Matto solicita al director del Instituto de Vacuna 15 tubos de vacunas y cuadros estadísticos para vacunar a las pacientes que han ingresado después del 3 de septiembre de 1907.
