The year 1917 corresponds to the last year of registration in the Hospicio del Cercado de Lima and Mr. Federico Elguera continues as inspector. The communications were related to the sending of the annual budget and the monthly expenses, the monthly reports of the movement of patients and the medical statistics tables, the sending of the patients' stay lists and the payers' lists, the sending of payment accounts for the repairs carried out in the hospice rooms, orders for the purchase of stockings, jumpers, T-shirts, rubber and ribbons; also, additional purchases of a boiler and a tank for the steam laundry, as well as fabrics for the manufacture of clothes for the patients. Request is made to stop admitting patients until the Hospice moves to the Magdalena; notes that the premises can no longer receive them. Note on Sister Superior's request not to reduce the wage bill of 35 guardians as many would resign; requests that it be kept as it is. Sister Superior's opinion on the inconvenience of reducing the number of guardians; suggests to keep the existing ones; the nurses have not yet started their duties. Notes on reimbursement payments to Sister Superior for the salaries of 4 nurses and Br. Valdizán. Detailed note on material expenses, as well as the sending of a list of increases and new posts for 1918; increase for the inspector, chaplain, bookkeeper, guardians and subordinate personnel. Creation of the posts of amanuensis and bookkeeper. Expenses for dismantling and assembling the kitchen, laundry and showers for transfer to La Magdalena. Note on request to the Electricity Company and Gas Company to disconnect supply and meter. Notes on miscellaneous administrative events and patient movements and medical statistics by month. The year ended with 212 paying patients.
El año 1917 corresponde al úlltimo año de registro en el Hospicio del Cercado de Lima y continúa como inspector el Sr. Federico Elguera. Las comunicaciones estuvieron relacionadas a el envío del presupuesto anual y de los gastos mensuales, los reportes mensuales del movimiento de los pacientes y los cuadros de estadística médica, el envío de las planillas de las estancias de los pacientes y las planillas de los pagantes, el envío de cuentas de pago por las refacciones realizadas en los ambientes del hospicio, pedidos de compra medias, chompas, camisetas, hule y cintas; además, compras adicionales de un caldero y un tanque para la lavandería de vapor, así como telas para la fabricación de vestiduras para los pacientes. Se solicita que se deje de admitir pacientes hasta que el Hospicio se traslade a la Magdalena; señala que el local ya no puede recibirlos. Nota sobre el pedido de la hermana superiora de no reducir la partida de sueldos de 35 guardianes pues muchos renunciarían; solicita que se mantenga tal y como está. Opinión de la hermana superiora de la inconveniencia de reducir el número de guardianes; sugiere que se conserven los que se tienen; los enfermeros aún no incian sus funciones. Notas sobre pagos por reintegro a la hermana superiora por los sueldos de 4 enfermeros y H. Valdizán. Nota detallada sobre gastos materiales, así como el envío de un pliego de aumentos y nuevas plazas para 1918; aumento al inspector, capellán, tenedor de libros, guardianes y personal subalterno. Crear las plazas de amanuense y portapliegos. Gastos para el desarmado y armado de la cocina, lavandería y duchas para su traslado a La Magdalena. Nota sobre la solicitud a la Empresa Eléctrica y la Empresa de gas para que desconecte el suministro y el medidor. Notas sobre eventos administrativos varios y movimientos de pacientes y estadísticas médicas por mes. El año terminó con 212 pacientes pagantes.
