Fragments of varying size reused as mummy cartonnage, bearing writing on one side along the fibres, with the back blank; mounted on cardboard in the same glass frame.
Upper left fragment (A): Broken off on all sides, with surface damage at the bottom; there are portions of 7 lines; a sheet-join runs from top to bottom at c. 5 mm from the right edge.
Lower left fragments (B-C): Two fragments containing further portions of one of the fragments of Papyrus 495(2): the left fragment contains the beginnings of 6 lines, corresponding to lines 6-11 of Papyrus 495(2), upper fragment. The right fragment bears portions of 8 lines (= lines 1-8 of Papyrus 495(2) upper fragment).
Right fragment (D): Good quality papyrus, broken off at the bottom and right, with plaster and red paint residue; with portions of one column and a sheet-join opposite lines 1-3, in the left edge.
