Three papyrus fragments, mounted in a glass case:
Left fragment = Papyrus 1605a: Strip of papyrus written on both sides. On the upper part of the recto, along the fibres, are small portions of 8 lines of a document, followed by blank space. On the verso, across the fibres, are parts of 34 lines in a different hand. The text in lines 1-14 is damaged and mostly illegible.
Upper right fragment = Papyrus 1605b: Fragment probably of a papyrus roll with remains of 13 lines written on the verso across the fibres. Only the upper margin is preserved. There are three acute accents. The recto is blank, except for two characters, a tau or pi on the upper right edge of the papyrus and a L-shaped sign below on the left.
Lower right fragment = Papyrus 1605c: Small fragment of a papyrus roll broken on all sides and containing remains of 10 lines written on the recto along the fibres. The back is blank and no margins are preserved. Further fragments from the same roll are contained in an Oxyrhynchus papyrus published as P.Oxy. LVI 3830.
