There are 27 lines; the last is written in the right edge. All margins are extant, with no blank space left to the right. Folding lines are visible. Left papyrus (A): Almost complete, imperfect at the bottom right edge and with few holes; slight abrasion and surface damage in the upper portion. The text is complete and consists of one column of 27 lines. The blank space at the bottom measures 60 mm.

Right papyrus (B): Broken off at the bottom and lacking the upper left edge, with few small holes and slight surface damage in the middle; well preserved as to the rest. One column of 32 lines survive, the last three lines being mutilated. Upper and left margins are extant; no margin was left to the right.

Three fragments of varying size from a papyrus roll, written on one side along the fibres, with the back blank. The fragments are mounted on cardboard in two glass frames, named Papyrus 181(1) and Papyrus 181(2).

Papyrus 181(1): Two fragments: the right fragment contains the ends of the lines of a column and the left portion of another column; the right fragment contains the line endings of a column and two further columns, damaged at the bottom. The last column is also damaged at the right. Part of the upper and lower margins survive, and the space between the columns measures up to 30 mm.

Papyrus 181 (2): one fragment containing parts of three columns; of the first only some of the line endings survive; the second column lacks the beginning; of the third only the beginnings of some lines remain. The surface is damaged throughout, especially to the left and right. The lower margin and the intercolumns survive.

Two papyrus sheets that do not belong together, mounted on cardboard in the same glass case.

Left papyrus (A): Complete, with damage and abrasion located along the middle vertical and horizontal folding lines. The text is complete and runs along the fibres on one side, the back being blank. All margins are preserved, the right being minimal and irregular. The blank space at the bottom measures approximately 70 mm. A stain is located in the upper right edge.

Right papyrus: Light-brown fragment with writing on one side along the fibres and the back blank. The text is incomplete and breaks off at the bottom; further ink is visible at the top.

Fragment of the same papyrus roll from which a papyrus of the Universitätsbibliothek of Giessen, inventoried as 175, comes. The British Library piece, slightly damaged by insect holes and torn at the top, preserves the top of two columns written along the fibres. Of the first, only the ends of 9 lines survive; of the second 13 lines remain, some mutilated. The columns are narrow, measuring around 45 mm. The space between the columns measure around 20 mm; the upper margin survives to 75 mm. The Giessen papyrus contains the foot of two columns and preserves the lower margin, which measures 85-90 mm. Between these two fragments there would have been three columns of 28-30 lines each. The back is blank. The British Library fragment is mounted on cardboard in a glass case.

The front preserves portions of two columns written along the fibres: 20 lines survive of the first column, some of which are very fragmentary, and 18 lines of the second, which is badly damaged; the column width is c. 65 mm, with 15 lines to the column; the intercolumn measures 20 mm. The back preserves portions of three incomplete columns running across the fibres, abraded in places. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.
