Scope & Content:
Petition from a weaver of Soknopaiou Nesos whose name is lost, complaining about his appointment as a village elder. The recipient is lost too. Dated to January-February or July-August 140.

Lower portion of a papyrus sheet, broken off at the top and damaged in the bottom right edge; with surface damage throughout; writing runs along the fibres on one side, the back being blank. There is one column of 18 lines, with traces of another at the top; the last 2 lines lack the ends. Left and lower margins are extant; no margin was left to the right. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass case.

Papyrus sheet, medium-brown, complete, with few holes; written on one side, the back being blank. On the front, there are 12 lines written along the fibres in the upper part of the sheet; all margins survive, with no space having been left on the right. The blank space at the bottom measures c. 100 mm. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

Portion of a medium-brown papyrus, with insect holes in places, especially along the horizontal fold; written on both sides. The front bears portions of 12 lines running along the fibres, lacking beginnings and ends; traces of another line are visible at the top. The papyrus was later cut to host the text on the back, which consists of one column of 6 lines written across the fibres in the upper part of the sheet. Margins are extant. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Papyrus sheet, complete and well preserved, with only few small insect holes not affecting the text; written on both sides along the fibres, the back bearing one line, with sealing pattern; on the front there are 7 lines, complete, occupying the upper half of the sheet; the last line is indented and written after some blank space. Upper and side margins are minimal, while ample blank space was left at the bottom. Vertical folds (front) are still visible. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Left papyrus (A): Medium-brown fragment, broken off at the bottom and on the left, complete on the other sides; bearing writing on one side along the fibres. The ends of 20 lines survive, with upper and lower margins. The back is blank.

Right papyrus (B): Light-brown fragment, broken off on the sides, complete at the top and bottom; bearing writing on one side along the fibres. The mid portions of 9 lines survive, with upper and right margins. The back is blank.

The ends of 16 lines survive, with the upper margin. The back is blank.
