Beginning of a letter from Boubalos to Zenon, with the request to deliver the letter to Apollonius at a favourable moment, so that he may write to the right people. With docket and address on the back. Written before 14 November 255 BC.

Extent:
Upper portion of a light-brown papyrus sheet, complete at the top and sides; bearing writing on both sides. On the front, there are 7 lines written along the fibres, with traces of another line at the bottom; side and upper margins are extant. Folding lines are still visible. On the back, there are three lines written along the fibres in the lower half of the sheet. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Letter of Hermolaus, chief financial official (oikonomos) of the Memphite nome, to Zenon, informing him that he sent an agent to collect croton and asking him to hire draught animals for him. The address is on the back.

Papyrus sheet, light-brown, complete, slightly damaged along the folding lines; written on both sides. On the front, there are 6 lines running across the fibres; all margins are extant. On the back, there is one line running along the fibres. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Extent:
Two fragments of a long and narrow papyrus sheet which do not join, medium-brown, broken off at the bottom and complete at the top and on the sides; there is minor surface damage along the folds. Writing runs on both sides. On the front, there are 16 lines written along the fibres, the upper fragment bearing 6 lines, and the lower 10 lines; some lines were lost in between. The upper margin is ample; the right margin is minimal. On the back, there is one word written across the fibres the other way up in relation to the text on the front. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Right-hand portion of a light-brown papyrus, the left-hand part of which is in Cairo, Egyptian Museum, inventoried as CG 59510; imperfect on the right and lacking the lower right corner; with some holes throughout; bearing writing on both sides. On the front, there are 7 lines written across the fibres; upper and lower margins survive. The back bears the end of one word written along the fibres the other way up in relation to the text on the front. Some traces of ink are also visible at the bottom. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.
