On the front, there are three columns written along the fibres, complete; the third is short and is followed by ample blank space. All margins are extant. Folding lines are still visible. Petition to the king Ptolemy from a certain Menander against a certain Dionysodorus, who apparently was claiming to hold the entire land where Menander had built his houses. The petition was probably handed to Zenon, even though it is addressed to the king. With ink-marks on the back.

The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame, with a small opening for the traces of ink on the back.

Upper papyrus (A): Lower right-hand corner of a papyrus sheet of light colour, written on one side across the fibres, the back being blank. The front bears the ends of 3 lines, with an additional line added at the top. Right and lower margins survive.

Lower papyrus (B): Medium brown, broken off on all sides; written on one side, the back being blank. There are few letters from four lines running against the fibres. No margin is preserved.
