This volume consists of a series of cuttings from liturgical manuscripts and leaves from two Latin Bibles bound together, one known as the Teutonic Knights Bible.

Provenance:
ff. 9-12:The Teutonic Knights in Maastricht (Nieuwe Biesen), probably the second volume of a three-volume Bible in their library: an inscription in a modern hand, 'Biblioth. Trajecto-Juneetanæ' (f. 9r). The volume was dismantled before 1883.
Bound volume: William Henry James Weale (b. 1832, d. 1917), art historian: purchased from him by the British Museum,16 April 1883, for £6: see inscription on f. [i] recto.
