Two papyrus sheets that do not belong together, mounted on cardboard in the same glass frame.

Left papyrus (A): Medium-to-dark-brown papyrus sheet, complete, but imperfect at the bottom; writing on one side only, back blank. The front bears 12 lines running along the fibres. Margins survive, the lower being imperfect.

Right papyrus (B): Upper portion of a medium-brown papyrus sheet, broken off at the bottom and complete on all other sides; writing on one side only, back blank. The front bears 11 lines running along the fibres. Upper and side margins are extant.

Acknowledgment by Aurelius Pecysis, a sailor of the Antaiopolite nome, of a four-year lease of a boat with a capacity of about 300 artabas, which he is renting from Flavius Theodorus, son of Menas. The description of the boat is provided. The document was written by Dioscorus.

Dark-brown papyrus sheet, imperfect at the bottom and with damage along the horizontal fold lines; with writing on one side. The back is blank. On the front, there are 52 lines written across the fibres, with the exception of the first 8 lines, which run along the fibres and are written on the first sheet, having opposite fibre direction. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

The front bears the top of a column, with no line being complete. The upper margin survives; no margin was left to the right. A sheet-join is visible at c. 40 mm from the right edge. On the front, there are 10 lines running across the fibres and lacking the beginnings; upper, right and lower margins survive. The ink has turned silver. The back bears one line written along the fibres in the upper half of the sheet, upside down in relation to the text on the front, and another line at the bottom. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Two unrelated fragments of papyrus, dark brown in places; both coming from the archive of Dioscorus; housed in one glass frame.

Left-hand side fragment: Papyrus 1737a: The recto is the upper left-hand corner of a papyrus sheet; written across the fibres. Well-preserved on the left and upper sides; probably folded from the bottom upwards and possibly from the right side towards the middle. The verso is written along the fibres and upside-down in relation to the recto; only a few lines are preserved followed by blank space.

Right-hand side fragment: Papyrus 1737b: Fragment from the right side of a document, written along the fibres. Probably folded at right angles to the fibres, but it is not clear in which direction. The back is blank.
