The sender of the letter, who was with the pagarch Menas, summons the recipient, who appears to have submitted a petition, so that his case may be decided.

Receipt acknowledging the payment of 12 carats and 3/4 made by Apollos, son of Dioscorus, on account of village taxes for the village of Phthla and for certain monks, issued by the pagarchs through their assistant Matoi. Dated to 514-515, 529-530, 544-545, or 559-560.

On the front, there are portions of 17 lines running across the fibres, lacking beginnings and ends. The upper margin survives. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

This badly preserved document seems to be a military pay record, as suggested by the abbreviation for drachma (see col. I 2, 4, 6; col. II 2, 7). The salaries are arranged under the personal names of soldiers. However, no figure can be detected.

Fragment from a papyrus roll, written on the recto along the fibres. The verso is blank. Portions of two columns survive, separated by an intercolumn of c. 15 mm. The first column consists of 6 lines, the second of 7 lines.

The light-brown papyrus preserves only the top (15 mm) margin; it is mounted on cardboard in a glass case.

Flavius Colluthus acknowledges that he has received the rent from Apollos (father of Dioscorus), through his son Menas, on account of a plot of land he is renting. With subscription of Colluthus written by Aurelius Apollos, son of Joseph, who acted on his behalf. Dated to 527-528 or 542-543.

A letter from one of the officials of Menas, the chief administrator of a city (pagarch), addressed to the village headman (protokometes) Apollos. Reference is made to a certain Demosthenes, described as most glorious (endoxotatos).

Broad sheet of papyrus, folded from the bottom upwards and possibly from each side towards the middle. Incomplete at the bottom-right side, where two small fragments, which do not directly join the major one, are still preserved. Written across the fibres, with a docket on the verso written along the fibers occupying. Mounted in glass.

Upper papyrus (A): Upper portion of a medium-brown papyrus sheet, with some surface damage; written on one side. The front bears 5 lines from the top of a column running along the fibres, with traces of a further line at the bottom. The back is blank.

Lower papyrus (B): Light-brown papyrus sheet, complete, with little damage along the right edge; written on one side. The front bears 6 lines running across the fibres, written in the upper half of the sheet; the lower half is blank. Margins are extant. The back is blank. Folding lines are still visible; there are traces of the original seal, which has not survived.
