Fragments of varying size from a papyrus roll, originally light-brown, but darkened in places, especially on the back. Both sides bear writing, along the fibres on the front and across them on the back. The front contains parts of four columns; of the first and fourth columns, part of the top and bottom remain; of the second, part of the bottom; the third is the best preserved. Each column originally contained 25 lines, for a height of 177 mm; upper and lower margins measure 45 and 58 mm respectively. The intercolumn measures x mm. The text on the back is arranged in columns, of which few portions remain.
Modern annotations are visible, with the number in red referring to the publication in P.Oxy. I. The papyrus is housed in a glass case.
