Receipt for the payment of the tax on catoecic land (arithmetikon katoikon), paid to Ptolemaeus and the other tax collectors of the village of Herakleia.

Papyrus sheet, written on one side across the fibres, the back being blank. The sheet is somewhat damaged at the edges; in the left and upper margins traces of other writing remain. After some blank space, two lines are preserved at the foot of the sheet. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass case.

Fragment of a papyrus sheet, broken off at the left (front), mutilated at the bottom and with surface damage throughout. There are white residues on both sides. Writing runs along the fibres on the front and across them on the back.

The front bears portions of ten lines, lacking the beginning, with further lines in the missing portion. The upper margin is preserved, no margin was left to the right and the lower margin survives to 35 mm.

The back, rotated 180 degrees, preserves part of the foot of a column, with portions of 11 lines lacking the beginnings. The lower margin is extant, and no margin was left to the right.

The papyrus is housed in a glass case.

Writing is on both sides along the fibres, the back bearing one line; on the front, one line was written perpendicularly to the main text from top to bottom of the left margin. Light-brown leaf from a papyrus codex, with a darker stain at the top on the front, partly mutilated at the sides and broken off at the top. It originally consisted of four fragments, two inventoried as Papyrus 455 and two as Papyrus 1849.

It bears writing on both sides, along the fibres on the front and across them on the back. The front bears portions of 24 lines, the back parts of 21 lines. The ink has turned brown. The papyrus is housed in a glass case named Papyrus 455+1849.

Upper fragment (A): Fragment from the bottom of a leaf of a parchment codex; portions of 7 lines from the foot of a column survive on each side. The lines on the front lack the ends, those on the back lack the beginninhs. The lower margin measures 50 mm.

Lower fragment (B): Upper portion of a papyrus sheet, written on one side across the fibres, the back being blank; with abrasion in places; 5 lines, with traces of a sixth line at the bottom.

The fragment contains a prayer on the Kiss of Peace from the liturgy of St. Basil. The papyrus joins at lines 1-6 PSI inv. 73 (M. Stroppa 2011), and at lines 7-18 P.Berol. inv. 21231 (S. Janeras 1987, G. Ioannidou 1996). Assigned to the 6th-7th century (or 4th-5th or 7-8th century).
