- Aurelius Apphous, of Oxyrhynchus, acknowledges a debt of 2 solidi that he owes to Aurelius Serenus, on account of various dyes he bought from him. Apphous’s property has been mortgaged. With consular date at the beginning and docket on the back.

Papyrus sheet, broken off at the bottom and left (front) and with breaks along the folds and few holes. Writing runs along the fibres on both sides, the back having a one-line docket. The front bears 19 lines, all lacking the beginnings, with a loss of 3-6 letters, with the exception of line 2, which is complete and indented. Of line 19 only the top of few letters remain. The number in red on the back refers to the publication in P.Oxy. VI. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.
