A fragmentary letter to Apa Papnuthius from a certain Heraclides, who is oppressed by some form of sickness and is asking for Papnuthius’ prayers. With postscript added by Heraclides himself at the end and address on the back.

Upper papyrus (A): Fragment of the same papyrus as Papyrus 2510; complete at the top and broken off on all other sides; with writing on one side and the back blank. On the front, there are portions of 9 lines written along the fibres from the top of a column. The upper margin is extant.

Lower papyrus (B): Medium-to-dark-brown papyrus fragment, complete at the top and bottom; written on one side across the fibres. The back is blank. On the front, there are portions of 21 lines. Upper and lower margins survive.
