Scope & Content:

Printed book, with original photographs by Randolph Bezzant Holmes pasted in, with accompanying letterpress descriptions. The work contains views on the line of the Khyber Railway.

This photographic commission is probably the one referred to in three letters in the Holmes Papers, Mss Eur F265/12 ff 152-154, written in September and October 1927 and discussing arrangements for Holmes to photograph the line and tunnels on the Khyber Railway.
