Incomplete papyrus sheet, broken off at the left and with five detached scraps located in the left-hand side of the frame. The sheet is damaged by holes throughout, especially along the vertical folds, with loss mostly affecting the left portion. Writing runs along the fibres on the front, with one broad column of 25 lines, the last of which is indented. The back has traces of lines written across the fibres, much defaced, and the official stamp in red. Upper and lower margins are extant; no blank space was left at the right. The surface is abraded in places. The papyrus is housed in a glass case.

Sale of a Donkey (P.Lond. II 313, TM 11692)
Scope & Content:
Sale of a mouse-coloured female donkey for 64 drachmas in Kerkesoucha, bought by Stotoetis, son of Horus, aged 35, from Pasion, son of Phasis, aged 25. The date and place are provided at the beginning and are written in a hand different from that of the body of the document.

Papyrus sheet, complete, with only a few small wormholes, located especially in the lower portion of the sheet. Writing runs along the fibres on one side, the back being blank. Contract for a one-year sub-lease of seven aruras of public land located around Bakchias. The rent of 2 artabas per arura is to be paid by Heraclides, son of Horion, to Stotoetis and Pacysis, sons of Apynchis, who had leased the land from the village of Soknopaiou Nesos.

Writing runs along the fibres on one side, the back being blank; the text consists of twenty-seven lines, the last three of which are separated from the rest of the text by little blank space. All margins are extant; no margin was left at the right. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass case.

Upper papyrus (A): Complete but with damage, especially in the centre; there are 8 lines, written along the fibres. All margins are extant, the right being minimal.

Lower left papyrus (B): Complete, with few small insect holes and minor surface damage; darker along the upper edge; there are 5 lines written along the fibres; all margins are extant.

Lower right papyrus (C): Lacking the lower corners and with some surface damage; there are 7 lines written across the fibres. Side and upper margins are minimal, the lower is damaged.
