Nine treatises on mathematics, astronomy, philosophy and geomantic divination.

Contents:

(2) al-Turkistānī (التركستاني), al-Risālah al-ʻAlāʼīyah fī al-masāʼil al-ḥisābīyah (الرسالة العلائية في المسائل الحسابية, ff. 23r-43v);
(3) al-Ṭūsī (الطوسي), Jawāmiʻ al-ḥisāb bi-al-takht wa-al-turāb (جوامع الحساب بالتخت والتراب, ff. 44r-87r);

Composite volume formed of four distinct codicological units:

(1) ff. 2-136a, containing items 1-5, copied by Abū al-Muẓaffar Muḥammad ibn Muḥammadshāh al-Tafrishī (أبو المظفر محمد بن محمدشاه التفرشي) between 748/1348 and 751/1350 at least in part at Baghdad for his own use (see colophons on ff. 21r, 43v, 87r, 96r and 136r), and a short text following item 1 copied or composed by a scribe who identifies himself as Masīḥ (مسيح, ff. 21v-22r);
(2) ff. 137-143, containing item 6, copied by a single anonymous scribe probably in the 16th century;
(3) ff. 144-159, containing items 7 and 8, copied by a single anonymous scribe, and a short, fragmentary text following item 8 copied by a different scribe (f. 159v) probably in the 16th century;
(4) ff. 160-169, containing item 9, copied by a single anonymous scribe probably in the 16th century.
